What is The iThrive Wellbeing Challenge?

The iThrive Wellbeing Challenge equips you with a toolkit of science-backed techniques to boost your Wellbeing. In our easy to follow format, one tool is introduced each week for 4 weeks. Participants are provided with weekly worksheets for each tool introduced, all rounded off with a 21 Day Wellbeing Challenge to help effectively embed your new habits. All tools are simple, yet powerful when consistently applied to your life, and are easy to incorporate into even the busiest of schedules.

Wellbeing is defined as the ability to feel good & function effectively. Research has found that by incorporating these simple habits into our lives, we can boost our Wellbeing, improve our mood, become happier, healthier, more productive and improve our relationships. Amazingly, most of these habits take no longer than a couple of minutes a day to complete.

Increased Wellbeing leads to more productivity and more success in every area of your life, from career to family and beyond. Wellbeing is a choice, and it can be learned by anyone. The iThrive Wellbeing Challenge coaches you through a 4 week plan, with an unexpected set of skills & exercises that will increase your Wellbeing levels exponentially.

iThrive Wellbeing Challenge Structure:

Over the course of 4 weeks participants attend 4 workshops which can be modified in length to suit your workplace needs, but typically last 30 minutes to 1 hour. After this 4 week period participants are presented with their 21 Day Wellbeing Challenge Workbook to further embed their new Wellbeing habits.

Introduction to Wellbeing

What does the science say and what does it mean for you?

The Power of Positive Emotions

Learn about how evolution has biased your mind and body for negativity and how you can counter this tendency to worry, judge and ruminate. Discover some simple strategies to boost your mood.

Your Brain Loves Exercise

Everyone knows that physical activity is important for your health and wellbeing, but few people realise why, and how simple it can be to be a healthier, more vibrant you. Exercise energizes you while burning off stress and reducing anxiety. Learn about how your body is wired and get inspired to get moving.

The Science of Mindfulness

Is your mind-full or are you mindful? Mindfulness is a way of paying attention to the present moment. When we’re mindful we become more aware of our thoughts and feelings and better able to manage them. Being mindful can boost our concentration, improve our relationships and help with stress, depression and chronic pain. Mindfulness is simple, you can do it anywhere, and the results can be life-changing.

Deepen Social Connection

Wellbeing is a social creature, and rises with social connection. Pursued in a vacuum, it’s very dicult to sustain. By focusing on creating meaningful connections, or increasing the meaning and depth of our relationships, we boost not only our own Wellbeing but that of those around us. Learn to build more positive and authentic connections with the people in your life.

Practical Information

Sessions are conducted by Séamus Ruane, a Certified Wellbeing Practitioner & Community Pharmacist. You should allow a week between each session so that participants can familiarise themselves with, and practice, the tools acquired before the following workshop. Participants are provided with weekly worksheets for each tool introduced, all rounded off with a 21 Day Wellbeing Challenge to help effectively embed their new habits. Sessions typically last for 45-60 minutes & may be scheduled at any time of the working day, including lunchtime.
